For six years, I have worked in the music industry as a songwriter, artist, creator & marketer. Music has always been my creative & emotional outlet, and I've had the privilege of sharing vulnerable & personal works of mine with tens of millions of people across the globe. My intention in distributing my music was for people to be reminded that they are not alone in their journey, regardless of how misunderstood or isolated they may feel. I wanted to give anyone who resonated with my own struggles a message of hope, and the feeling of being seen, heard and loved. The overwhelmingly positive reception taught me that we are all so very alike, and we largely experience the same emotional difficulties as humans, but through different people, settings, circumstances & lenses.

After graduating from Boston University in 2022, I spent a year reflecting on my overall satisfaction in career and the lessons life had taught me thus far. I found that I had undergone profound changes in who I was as a person from the time I ventured into music at seventeen, to present day. Though my passion for music remains, I was able to connect with my values, motivations & desires on a much deeper level. I observed that what made me feel fulfilled more than anything else was embodying authenticity, being of service to others, and cultivating meaningful connection. I realized that I wanted to take what I'd learned from enduring life's challenges and use it to help people gain the perspective needed for them to persevere through their own.

Although today I may not look it, my journey has been littered with emotional turmoil. I spent the larger part of my adolescence and young adulthood battling with emotional abuse & negligence, a chaotic home environment, anxiety, depression, mental illness & generational-trauma within my family system, addiction, self-harm, homophobia, and a seemingly never-ending struggle to find self-acceptance, self-love, self-worth, set boundaries, and cultivate healthy and reciprocal relationships– romantic or otherwise. Despite the cards I had been dealt, I remained determined to heal and to find peace, healthy love, & happiness.

My healing process has been long and rather difficult at times, but incredibly rewarding and worthwhile. Therapy, as well as good-hearted friends & family members have made the journey a bit easier. What has helped me far more than anything, however, has been discovering mindset work. More specifically, the ways in which your thoughts, beliefs, attitudes & behaviors play into and perpetuate your current reality and circumstances. Through my own exploration and much reading & research on spirituality, mindfulness, trauma, healing & human behavior, I have developed my own framework for re-connecting with yourself and your emotions, uprooting and clearing out emotional baggage, examining your limiting beliefs & re-wiring to a positive mindset that will prove to be your greatest ally in managing your emotions & creating a life that is desirable to you.

My mission for Adam Aligned is to provide the resources, information & guidance that will help people to heal from & overcome emotional hardship, find direction & purpose in life, gain self-awareness & perspective, realize their potential & pursue their goals with confidence, grow through discomfort, feel whole & connected to themselves & to others, to embody unconditional love, and to find peace & fulfillment through authentic living.
